As a teenager I spent many long hours trawling through bookshops and charity shops in search of a *certain* book. I didn’t know what the book would be called or even what it would be about. I just knew I was searching for something that would help me understand the meaning of life and how to find true fulfilment. In many ways, Livi’s story echoes my own- my journey of losing hope and being nobody to finding faith and learning I am everything to Him.
I realised recently that I had written the books I was looking for all those years ago. I’m not saying the Livi Starling books have all the answers, but I hope they will point you to the One who does.
Events and Workshops
I would love to come as a speaker for any youth events (big or small) you might be planning.
Drawing on the themes of the Livi Starling books and my own personal stories, I would speak on identity, destiny and the dangerous prayer of asking for more of God. I could also tell a tale or two from the three years my husband and I spent living out of suitcases as we followed Jesus through more than forty different cities (including Jerusalem, Fort Mill, Toronto, Cardiff and London) and the trials and treasures we discovered when our faith was put to the test.
I also offer a free Drama workshop or free Creative Writing workshop for schools and youth groups.
